Guests are entertained by side splitting yarns, historical stories and anecdotes.
Many of these stories have been passed down through the Locker family generation to
generation.
Here's a short one.
"My father told me once that he stayed overnight with Old Dick Brayshaw out
at Boboyan. Now Dick was one of the old mountain men, tried and true, and my
father said that they came out early one morning, and were standing looking at
Sentry Box [Hill] which was down the valley from where Dick had his home. And
overnight there had been a snowfall, and the mountain was covered with snow.
And my father made the comment that "It would be fairly cold up there this
morning, Dick".
And Old Dick replied, "Yes, that's pretty right," he said, "and I wouldn't like
to be up there wearing nothing but a pair of long neck spurs"."
